Hungry, Humble and Hospitable

Women

The Christian life is not meant to be done alone. Jesus calls us to love one another, and we believe we grow best in our faith through relationships with others. That’s why we do Groups. In Groups, we seek to become and make disciples of Jesus through sharing life together.

Table Talk for Six

Are you looking for a smaller group to meet new people, share stories and encourage each other in God’s Word?  Then Table Talk for Six (TT46) might be just right for you!  Each group of six women meets once a month (for three months) for two hours to get to know one another and discuss four questions about God’s Word while sharing coffee or a meal together.  TT46 is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other women, and new groups will meet in October, November and December.  It is a wonderful way to meet other women, and you can watch this video to learn more. New groups will be forming February, March and April 2019.  You can register here.

Thursday Evening Study

James:  Mercy Triumphs by Beth Moore (8 weeks)

February 7, 2019-April 4, 2019 Thursday nights, 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm at Cherry Hills.  Room 204.  No childcare.

What Good is Your Faith?  Is it merely a superficial formality?  James will inspire you to put your faith into action in practical ways.  People watch, listen and respond to every word you speak and every deed you’ve done. Actions speak louder than words.  Christianity is more about your actions on Monday than your worship on Sunday.   Topics will include joy, hardship, faith, and wisdom; dangers of the tongue, humility and prayer.  We start every session in small groups for prayer and discussion of our weekly homework.  We end by watching a DVD teaching from Beth Moore.

Sign up with Kathy Hall (Kathyhall586@gmail.com) by February 5, 2019 to reserve a spot in a small group. Workbooks are required by the first night.

*Order workbooks through Amazon or Lifeway.

Friday morning Serve and Study Group

This group will meet on Friday mornings to serve and study together.  Some weeks we will meet at Contact Ministries to serve together. Other weeks we will meet to study a video series about the poverty and persecution of the global Church. This all helps us learn about and live out an outward posture of the Kingdom of God both locally and globally.  The cost is $10 for the video series’ participant guide.  Contact Terri Woolbright (t.woolbright@comcast.net) for more information and to signup.
