serve communities
shared mission

The church is an interdependent community. We need each other! Serving coffee, playing drums, mentoring students, mowing the grass, hosting groups—it all makes a difference. Serving is a way to join what God’s doing in and through our church, and there are lots of opportunities.

shared life

A serve team is a community with a common mission. That makes serving one of the best ways to get connected and start developing relationships with people in the church.

Ministry Areas
Building and Grounds

If you like to work with your hands, take care of property, and meet practical needs, serving on a building and grounds team may be a good place to volunteer. Contact Tadd@cherryhillsfamily.org.

Congregational Care

We carry each other’s burdens as a community: writing cards, visiting people in hospitals, distributing benevolence funds, hosting communities to process anxiety or grief. Reach out to Katherine@cherryhillsfamily.org to learn more.

Kids & Students

We intentionally invest in the next generation around here, so if you want to mentor students, make food for youth group, or help kids encounter Jesus, family ministries is your area.

First Impressions

Jesus was a master of hospitality, helping people be seen and known. Through greeting teams, amateur baristas, parking lot shuttle drivers, book sellers, connect center volunteers, and a host of other roles, we try to welcome people in and help guide them to first steps in connection and growth. Reach out to Jen@cherryhillsfamily.org to learn more.

Groups & Classes

If you’ve got a teaching gift, love to facilitate discussion, have a knack for creating community, or just a passion for formation, reach out to Luke@cherryhillsfamily.org to find out about how you can serve.

Missions & Outreach

We want to be the hands and feet of a generous God. Our missions ministry meets needs and shares Jesus with people locally and all over the world. Contact Jenny@cherryhillsfamily.org to find out more about prison ministry, homeless outreach, mission trips, and more.

Worship Arts

Artists need the church and the church needs artists. If you’ve got a voice, play an instrument, make art, can run (or would like to learn how to run) tech, these and other roles are available through worship arts ministry.
